It’s a new month. A new day with a difference purpose. For the month of October I am making the choice to stay committed to daily affirmations. Affirmation means the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed. I have come to a since of knowing that if I speak love, beauty, care, health, and happiness into my life I will begin to feel it, but I must believe it first. It’s not up to others to make me feel alive (that’s a bonus), it up to me. Positivity, is like a seed which can grow into great things as long as it is nurtured and watered with love. My three affirmations I will commit to speaking into my life are:
- I am Healthy. I am Joyful. I am Amazing.
- I am Beautiful.
- I am Authentically made.
I am Healthy. I am Joyful. I am Amazing.Speaking positivity, good health, and love into your life will start to change how you view the person you are looking at in the mirror. You will start to smile more. Laugh more. And life will start to look brighter. You friends and family will notice and would want to know “what could she possibly be happy about?” If they only that you joy is being pulled out from within. Speaking change into your life gives you life. It gives you the chance to change from negative thinking to positive thinking.
I am Beautiful. It’s still a working progress, but I can confidently say that I am beautiful. You are beautiful. Everyone has beauty within themselves. Even if it’s buried deep within, they are still beautiful. Speaking beauty into your life is always important to anyone dealing with issues of self-image. My blog post about defining your beauty has brought me back from a place of unsettled peace about the way I use to feel about myself. Speaking the truth about who you are and how amazing and confident you are rises you to the top of self-confidence.
I am Authentically made.I am the only copy of myself. So it’s important to continue to be me. I know that I have so much to share with the world. I am a women from a man who was proud to serve is country and from a woman that sacrificed and made choices to put her family first before her own life. Whenever I feel like I’m on the verge of comparing myself, I stop to reflect on the fact that I am created to be exactly the person I am. The only person I can be is me. I’m an introvert that loves to read and rather help with the an activity than to be in the forefront of leading. I am finally comfortable with the skin that I’m in. And I’m proud to be me.
Affirmations have played a great part in building my self esteem. Speaking things that are true into your life has been life changing. Fall is a time to reflect and make the necessary changes in life from the choices made before. As the year is coming closer to the end let’s think about what we are telling ourselves. Are we bringing ourselves up or down? Let’s start speaking the very things you want in your life and believe what you say. You are responsible for how you feel and what you will allow in your mind and heart. Start Affirming whatever you want in your life today! Stay Beautiful. xox, Teniqua
